Jon-Cesar (JC) Ignacio is a songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist based in New York City. Originally from Pomona, California, Jon-Cesar creates genre-bending music that pushes the boundaries of pop, rock, and alternative styles, drawing inspiration from artists like The 1975, The Smashing Pumpkins, Paramore, and Ben Folds.

A graduate of New York University (B.M. ’24) studying Songwriting and Contemporary Production, JC is passionate about helping recording artists bring their creative visions to life. As a songwriter-producer, he is shaping the sound of the industry’s next break-through singer-songwriters.

Beyond the studio, JC has been a church pianist since the age of 16 and frequently serves as a music director for various ensembles. He also supports many gigging artists across NYC, lending his expertise as a pianist, guitarist, and arranger. He is currently writing a musical with his writing partners, exploring new ways to tell compelling stories through music. His work is driven by a desire to push boundaries while fostering diverse and underrepresented perspectives in the industry.
