JC Ignacio

Jon-Cesar (JC) Ignacio is a songwriter, pianist, and music producer. As a senior majoring in Music Theory and Composition with a concentration in Songwriting and Contemporary Production at New York University, JC is focused on honing his skills as a songwriter and producer. He currently works as NYU Songwriting's Program Assistant.

Originally from Pomona, California, JC creates music in the pop, rock, alternative, and theatrical styles. With a passion for helping recording artists fulfill their vision, he has become a go-to collaborator for many musicians in the industry. His diverse influences, which include The 1975, the Smashing Pumpkins, Paramore, and Ben Folds, are present in his sound and style.

JC has been a church pianist since the age of 17 and frequently serves as a music director for various ensembles. His commitment to creating music that is both innovative and emotive has garnered him significant attention.

Jon-Cesar writes songs collaboratively and aims to help diversify and bring new perspective to the music industry. JC is based in New York City, where he continues to learn from and work with other musicians to create music.
